Volunteer Opportunities

  • Homemaker services:  Preparing a sandwich or light meal for patient
  • Provide respite for three hours a week, one day a week
  • Run errands for patient/family
  • Provide Tuck-N-Call Services:  Volunteer calls patient family every week, usually Thursdays or Fridays, to assess their needs for the weekend.  Volunteer will call Hospice of Davidson County to report to appropriate staff
  • Read to patients
  • Yard work for patient/family
  • Make crafts for patient/families
  • Cut and style patient’s hair
  • Clerical work in the office
  • Assist with annual fundraiser
  • Deliver medications
